During the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, following the gruesome murder of George Floyd, we created a space to uplift and celebrate Black people. Those whom we refer to as #SAVAGESOFTHECULTURE have had lasting impacts on their community and the world at large, and include activists, entertainers, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, and more. Over 450 guests have graced the #SAVAGECHATSERIES, including "Living Single" stars, Erika Alexander, TC Carson, and Kim Coles, President of the National Urban League, Marc Morial and President of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), Derrick Johnson, En Vogue, The Mayor of New Orleans, Latoya Cantrell
We were blessed to host the #SAVAGECHATSERIES live at Xavier University, Stillman College, the Wilmington Library and during the Ashe Cultural Arts Center's 25th Anniversary Rooftop Festival.
